Any interest in my Formula 402? Twin 600HP supercharged 454's, huber 1200 trannies, TRS, hyd steering, stellings, clean boat. Thinking of downsizing

ThirdBird 06-24-2009 11:03 AM

Even if we don't want to buy your boat, we like looking at pictures!!!:drink:

I remember drooling over your 402 while it was in the classifieds here a few years ago. Certainly one of the finest examples I've yet seen.

How fast have you been able go? I would imagine with the power it has, high 70's would be possible. It must plane very well with the low X-dimension.

I'll second Dave's prompting for pictures. We do like looking.

I will echo the call for some pics of that beast - one of the best looking Formulas, IMHO. Now get some shots up here :D

jeff32 07-28-2009 08:27 AM

let's go with pictures!

The boat will do 72-73mph. The motors have been great, nothing exotic, but they run really nice. Actually, the propshafts are pretty high for a TRS boat. Gonna try some 3 blade mirage plus props this weekend and see how they work.

Let me get going on some pics for you guys!

For those who'd like to know, motors are 454CI, dart aluminum heads, roller cams, weiand superchargers, huber 1200 trannies, TRS drives, mayfair hyd steering, full autometer gauges, 380 k planes, gaffrig switchable mufflers, stellings headers, some nice stuff.

Give us some up to date info on it. We all like to see things get upgraded.

MILD THUNDER 09-03-2020 08:20 AM

I sold it back in 2010 or so with no power. Just the hull , trailer and drives. It went to south carolina I believe, then to Tennessee/kentucky area, then to Michigan. Seems like its traded hands quite a bit over the last decade

Redneckcustoms13 09-03-2020 08:27 AM

Plowtruck is teasing all of us posting about it. I'm interested to see what it is now. And ofcourse what he wants for it.

AllDodge 09-03-2020 08:31 AM

Plowtruck95 you need to post 10 times before you can post pics

distantthunder 09-07-2020 01:19 PM

New interior on the out side. That’s about it.
