Broken Bomar Hatch
 

I managed to break the arm that holds open one of my hatches. Are those parts available?

Just checked that site out. Good find. Looks like the square hatch shown is an exact replacement.

Wow, thanks, it looks like they do have those parts. Anbody know if the front hatch on a 311 is the number 130 cast hatch? I can check tonight on mine but I'd like to order it this morning if possible.

I've bought parts from them (they are the original manufacturer) but both times they told me I couldn't fix the hatch myself.......after I convinced them to sell me the parts, the hatch has held together fine.

Molded hatch - 900 Series I think.

Depending on your local boat store, they might carry replacement parts on the shelf. Down here we have Boat Owners Warehouse and they stock a bunch of Bomar parts.

Check the serial # between the hinges. Positive ID for the right parts.

I saw that number but don't see any reference to a Model 130 anywhere. There are only three arms available and they all look different so I ordered the one that looks like mine - should be all set.

The replacement part arrived yesterday and is an exact match. Thanks for the lead, JFM. I love this site - it would be a lot harder to keep my old 'bird together without the help I've received here !!!
