Well i have narrowed my boat selection (in my price range)down to a 1999 382 w/ 500hp's or a 2002 353 w/500 efi's.I mostly will be in the ocean,bigger water and know the 382 will do better. But I hear the 353 is funner,more sporty to drive. I would like to go efi but the 382 is super clean w/ a/c. Really looks and treated like new. The 382 has over 250 hours but the top ends where done,353 has around 190 hours.Any sugestions or things I should look out for? Any help would be great.I haven't driven ethier of them yet. thanks in advanced.

If you need a day boat with no overnighters......get the 353 for reasons you stated. The 382 will ride better and be easier to MOD the motors (carbs) but it is a bigger boat than you normally need.

well coming off a 38 express cruiser with a condo like setting,both of them will be alot less boat!Thank god!:lolhit:

sounds like you need a 400 ss with 525's

that would be nice, but need to get out of a marina/slip.Way to exspensive around here.
