How many brokers are looking for a 400SS?
I cannot believe the amount of calls i get from brokers, today three different calls from guys that can assume the loan. I don't remember getting these calls last year with the Cigarette.
I guess some people must bite on these deals but this is getting old. but on the other hand not a single scam purchase.:grinser010: http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o29561-en.html |
I actually have a friend looking to trade up to one of these from a 357 SR-1. The 400 SS seems to be a very popular model.

Thats a nice 400, what speed do you see with the 525's?
|
I just missed this one this morning by juuuuust a couple $$$. was sold no reserve.. that was a good deal !

I was going to bid $75k on that one, but The Admiral didn't think that we needed a third boat. K-i-l-l-e-r deal for some body!
|
I talked to the guy I would be highly surprised that it sold. He sounded pretty firm on something over a 100000. He has other boats and didn't seem like he needed to sell. He probably had someome put in a bid for him.
|
We offered him the 357 in the classifieds plus 40k and he was disgusted with the offer. Looks like he would have done better if he did.
|
Where did the 06 go? Did you sell?

sorry, but I would have turned that down too. I'll "give" you my boat, but only if you "give" me yours too. Just curious...what is the "book" value of each of those boats? |
$71K ! Dam...
|
reading what you guys just said, he probably had someone he knows bidding on it so even with a low selling price he would not be selling it...
if it was high, he would sell it... |

just thinking about keeping it instead of paying out a bunch to sell it. i have been using it a lot more lately, had a great run up the coast last weekend |
Regarding the blue 1999 400 that sold on craigslist, I hope that who ever bought this piece of turd saw it before buying it. I live less than a mile from this boat. Tried to buy the trailer. This boat was a hurricane salvage boat from florida(Wilma). The guy is based out of Fort lauderdale and buys salvaged boats. It has sat uncovered in his yard for over two years. the gel coat and paint work on this boat is absoulutely awful. Sander marks. orange peel. The hull has been fixed. Actually, it had sat without the engine hatch on it and only a blue tarp covering the engines up until the second week in September. I know this because I pass this boat numerous times a week going to my marina. Buyer beware with this boat. The guy was a real piece of work.

the one that sold on craigslist, or the one that was on e-bay that sold for 71 k?
|
It is the same boat.

these boats are awesome.. has anybody tried putting in a pair of 480hp yanmars if they would fit with some ASD-8's.. To me this is the perfect package. I bet it would be close to 68-70mph. I like this boat better cause of it's size vs the 48 Fountain cruiser.
