Buying a trailer for a 272 SR 1

Hello,
My name is Christian and i´m from Sweden.
Been here for a while and done lots of reading, learned a lot.
Just bougth me a Formula 272 in chesapeake and looking for a trailer for it.
What size trailer do i need,is a tandem axle OK?
Do i get a decent one for $2000?
Any advice........

Thanks
/C

tandem with 5,000lbs axles is just enough....I prefer 3 axles, even if they are the cheaper 3,500lbs axles. Finding used is real tough, they are usually worn out trailers. A new trailer will be $4000-5000 for a "cheap" one.

A guy on Speedwake had one built for a 272 by accident (he needed to smaller 271) and that trailer was being sold cheap but that was ayear ago. You'll have to look hard to find the info if it is even still available.

I just couldn't remember your screen name...I kept thinking 242something.....then blank. That trailer sounds like a perfect deal for this guy.
