353 Owners

Can anyone who has a 353 tell me what the total length of the boat and trailer is from tonge to outdrives (sitting on the trailer)? I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a used 2003 and I need to know if my existing storage garage will accomodate the boat and trailer.

THANKS!

depends on what type of trailer and if the drives are up or down.

aluminum trailers tend to be longer than steel.....my aluminum tongue sticks out over 5ft past the bow but I could fit 2 ft more boat on it, some can be as short as 3ft. A steel could be a little shorter than that.

I'd plan on needing about 42', cause you're going to need a little space front and back as well.

I've got an 06 353 on a Loadmaster tri-axle. It will not fit in a 40ft storage unit w/out taking the bow stop off and moving the boat forward about 2ft.

However the dealer told me that they put 353's in a 40ft storage unit all the time, I think most of their boats are sold on Eagle Trailers.

Its really going to depend on the trailer you have.

My buliding at home, and where I store it at, are both 40' deep. My boat, is on a steel trailer (Prestige). I have to put my drives down, to get it in. It measures, with the drives down, 38' 8''. Hope this helps.

My boat is on an aluminum Rocket trailer and it fits (barely) in my 40' enclosure.
