382 panel

I am considering making a new panel for my 1999 382. It has a step which really tales up a surprising amount of space. 500HP and some others have done new panels and I am wondering if there are any pitfalls and especially if a flat panel will work?

Thanks

rjr

A Flat Panel Works Very Nicely

Thanks, I really appreciate the input. I have the Formula drawings for both the flat and stepped panels if anyone wants a copy.

Back4more that panel is awesome!!!!

I would love a copy of those, I have been wanting to do my 97 382! I was toying with the idea of just having all my panels liquid transfer printed carbon fiber but I'd really like to change those gauges too.

Thanks, I wish I could have done the throttles but just couldn't spend the money......innotech products does the panels for Formula, if flat panels fit in your dash (I don't know if they do), he would be able to make carbon-fiber panels pretty easily.
BTW: I simply bought new gauge bezels and re-used my old gauges....the whole project with the new wheel cost about $750-800 and my time.

with stepped dash you need to fill the step above so it will be water tight I am not finished with mine yet I put extra thick weather strip there till I finish

Thanks that was a friend of mine we did his 05....
I spoke with him today and asked if he still had all his old panels with gauges that he wanted to sell. If anyone is interested he has all the old red panels, gauges, switches, etc. I will post pics of all when i get them from him.

05 panels.... I must note that there was a lot of work for the new panels and the monster gauges to fit...wiring harnessess had to be remade and grinding of the helm also.
Swapping out using these panels is more of a plug and play.
Hate to see these just sit if someone wants to up grade their dash for alot le$$.
