Sink Drain?

I have a 98 271 fastech I am wondering if anyone out there is annoyed that the sink drains in the bilge? I am also wondering if anyone has changed the drain location to out the side like to older ones as I am thinking of doing this. Any advice?
Thanks

My 242 is plumbed to the out side we don`t use it much. I am sure regulations made Formula do this. It`s and easy fix.

I called formula on this and they are tellin me that its a structual issue and dont do it. I dont see why it cant be done as the older ones have it a friend I know has a 97 271 same boat and his came like that with the drain out the side. I am just looking to see if anyone else has done this.

I second that. No big deal, IMHO its not like your running millions of gallons of water through it, Right?

No clue where the drain goes on my 303........never once used it.

My older 91' s9s was plumbed right out the port side. I would think the only thing you need to be aware of is locating the position so as to not go through the structural grid, other than that I can't see why it would be a problem. IMHO.
