357 Owners

Were in the engine bay are your batteries. I just removed all four batteries from my 357. They were installed down both sides of the engine bay, it was a ***** getting them out with the stainless exhaust. Just curious were your batteries are located. I am considering mounting them back in close to the front bulkead of the compartment for easier access in the future.

I think you may have a few extra's in there from stock? My 311 has them in the same place as yours and it is a pain to pull them out. The good news is you should not have to do it often. If you move them forward think about what they may be in the way of like changing your water pump and stuff like that? On my 302 I rewired them to under the back seat on the outsides.

I am planning to put two back in. If I overnight its in the Sea Ray. It is a pain to get to them in that location though. With really cold weather here I will be pulling them when winterizing.

I have only 2 but they are right behind the seat, one on each side so as you open the hatch they are easy to access.

my batteries are installed close to bulk head but on the outside of the stringers. not hard to get at them and doesn't interfere with any motor repairs. I only have two batteries. I am looking to add two more batteries at some point for added security right behind the other two.:evilb:
