anyone know where i can purchase a new carpet for my 06 292 with out going thru formula

Majicfloat can get it from Formula he is a member here.Or I think Air Time makes carpets.Did you make a mess running with the new motors?:drink:

No the carpet is a little dirty form some stains and some spills.

There was a guy at my marina that had a bunch of stains on his carpet.He scrubbed laundry soap on it and power washed it.I thought he would ruin the carpet but he had nothing to lose at that point.It actually looks pretty good.

It was one of those electric ones not the gas powered one.The electric are less pressure.

by the way , what RE YOU GETTING TOP SPEED WISE ON YOUR 292, WITH THE 6.2'S I WAS RUNNING 70 ON THE GPS SPEEDO. JUST WONDERING SOME ARE SAYING 75-76 ON THE NEW 292

71-72 under perfect conditions I did not pick up top end with the new exhaust but plaining and mid range is better.I don't honestly think a 292 can run 75-76 with 320 hp 6.2s.Its just not enough power.

if you look at the new thread apparently some one says they are getting 75-76. i pulled up a powerboat mag test on the 2002 292 with scorpions. they ran 76mph with the radar the non gps speedo showed 80. The non gps speedo is always off by about 3-4 mph

Two key words "says" and Scorpions those motors were different and big $$$ than the 6.2s we have.Even though they are both 377ci.

I agree. My '06 with 320 HP 6.2's in perfect conditions is 71-72 mph. This is at 450' elevation with labbed 28" pitch Bravo's. Typical top speed on an average day is 69-70 mph.

when i had my 6.2's i was laways at 69, the only time i saw 70 was when i ran the boat for a test drive on the delaware river.
