Cathodes for 87 F242LS

Hello, i'm new to boating and have posted a few questions recently as i'm clueless about many a boating things. I noticed that i don't have a cathode(boat is used in freshwater only so...magnesium?)just above the prop. Should i have one? If so what kind and where is a good place to get them at a fair price? Thanks
