Formula DEMO DAYS -----> New Jersey!
Formula Demo Days is coming to the Jersey Shore at Lightning Jacks Marina in Brick, NJ August 27-29th. Friday noon-6:00, Saturday 10:00-6:00 and Sunday noon-6:00.
There will be an assortment of models to check out and once I find out the official boat list that will be there I will post it up. Come out and show support and check sweet boats out! Make sure you let the staff at the Demo Days know you heard about it on Offshore Only!!! |
Can a mod fix the thread title for me? I posted from a phone and it messed up. Sorry! It is supposed to read Formula DEMO DAYS ----> New Jersey!
|
I might make the drive down.
|
I am very interested as well, I will look forward to more details on this event.
Thanks, JB |
Am i being little bias because im not close the Jersey Shore, but wouldn't you think that they would have it a little closer to Decatur?
|
Formula has them all over the place. They had one up in NY a few weekends ago. Why would they want to keep it close to Decatur? That's like saying you can only buy cars near or around Detroit. It's advertising, a way to drum up more business.
Now do they actually allow you to "demo" them or is it like an in-water boat show. |
Ok got word on some more info from the Northeast Rep and also a little flyer. The list seems pretty good of the boats that will be there in the water for you to check and out. If you are very interested in a boat they are there ready to DEMO.
So far the list as goes: 45 Yacht 40 PC 37 PC or 34 PC 400 SS 350 SS 310 Fx 290 SS 270 BR http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._7285363_n.jpg |

You would think that the 353 or 382 would be a lot easier to trailer down there. Guess they have to bring the most popular. I've noticed as of late that the trend seems to be more towards that day cruisers/weekender boats with cockpit room but still can top out at 55-60.
I love my 292 but can't help but think when sitting on the SS's at the boat shows that the larger cockpit would just be more economical. Two additional passengers I got no room to move around, so it's a lot of just me and the wife at tiimes. Need to find more friends with bigger boats. |
