Help - Transom Water Leak?

I have an '05 353 Fastech. After boating all day I always get about a gallon of water out of the starboard side plug only. I have looked and looked but can not find where the water is coming in from. Any one with a similar symptom from a fastech?

Teflon tape your drain plug and try again. I had the same thing one season, worn out plug!

The problem with a lot of those deals is that the water can some times only enter at high speed or even when the boat goes nose high. My 311 gets a bilge full the first time I plane off and then seemingly nothing after that? Have been trying to find were it is all coming from but so far no luck.

Bad Bird do you have extension boxes? I had a similar problem a while back and found that is was leaking in through the boxes, sealed them up with a good marine caulk and no problems since. Also check your header couplers to your pipes that the clamps are tight.

No extension boxes, but I will check the header couplings on that side!
