272 sr-1 hull blue printing
 

love my 90 272 boat. was wondering if anyone has had the hull blueprinted, like having the hooks taken out etc. was there an benefits ?

There's an old post where someone was doing that but I don't think he ever came back on to share results.

I figure with more/modern power and newer props it would be a worthy effort. You have to check the hull though - some hulls the hook was filled with extra glass (meaning an easy grind). Others you could see the hook from inside, meaning a much more difficult job.
