How big is the gas tank on a 242Ls

I found a thread that answered this question for this boat with twins installed. How about when this boat came from the factory with a single 350 and alpha in 85? Previous owner never ran it dry but told me he thought it was around 30 gal. That is a big difference from the 110 gal tank that is in the twins model. If this is a small talk, does anyone know about the possibilities of changing it to a larger tank?

My 89 242ss that I had 10 years ago I believe had 98 +/- a few gals.

My '85 with twins is right about 100gal.

I found that it sits very different on the trailer vs in the water (butt heavy). Easy to fill on land, but in the water, it always gets an air bubble and won't take much fuel. I get everyone on the bow and soon after the air bubble blows through the breather. Then you can fill it.

Formula's 85 brochure states 100 gal for the 242 LS and there no stated difference for one or two engines.
