Swim pad skin

:flag:Where would be the best place to look for a new swim pad skin for a 1997 382? Mine is cracked and is in need of replacement. I contacted a local company at the LOTO and they said it would be around $1750.00 to install. I can install my self, I just need the new skin.

Is there any way you could post a pic of the skin. I am not sure what the colors patern is called. I would post a pick of mine but not sure how to do it.

Ha! I think I must have read "swim step skin" for some reason. I know the pads are called skins. LOL. Holiday cocktails maybe? :drink:

Not that one. This one is mine.

I would think most decent upholstery shops should be able to replicate that, but $1700 seems steep.

I just had mine[sun pad] done at my local marina, along with some other upholstrey repairs and seat frame repairs for about 2k.
They just took the covers off and undid the stitching and used the peices for patterns and stitched new ones together.
Turned out great.

I did my entire cockpit, got everything from Formula thru Nelems Marine. Robert Nelem(MagicFloat) gave me a 20%discount off Formula retail. I got all the part #'s right from Formula and emailed them to Robert. He placed the order and drop shipped to my house.

My boat was originally bought from his dealership, so I dont know if he would do that for anyone. Couldnt hurt to ask.

He's always helping out fellow Formula owners, Great guy.

The Formula stuff will fit and look the best.
