Prochargers on a 312 fastech

Any one have prochargers on their bird.. I have twin 454 mag mpi's in my 312 and seriously thinking adding Prochargers. I run 73 max with 2 or 5 people no matter what I do with 30p labbed 4-blade Bravo-1's 1.65 Bravo drives..
Want to go with the M-1sc's (5psi) quite a bit of work to do properly from what I am finding out...
Was wondering if worth the effort and $$. Has anyone tried?

yes its worth it,,cheepest way to pick up 15-20 mph if tuned rite..do you have hyd steering? also you will probably have to change your gear ratios or turn up the rev limiters...

Be careful coming out of the hole with the extra HP, don't know what kind of lowers you have.

I wouldn't do it. I had a 312 for a few years......it gives weird handling when getting towards 80 and above. I just waited and got a bigger boat.

Silent, i disagree with Phontom. look at my sig my 97 312 runs great all the way to mid to upper 90's gets a little loose over 100 (runs 102 gps light load) great boat responds well to the imco -2 shorties. Get the right person to tune the motors. also my boat had 1:65 gears from the factory ended up with 1:36 turning 32 pitch bravos. Have fun good luck

IT's killining me to either do or not.. been up for weeks in the am..is that sick or what? I found an installer that does it right but its about 13 grand + pro chargers.. heads worked, new fuel systems, Mefi 4b's and harness, re work of injectors etc.etc. but I guess theres a wrong way and a way to make it live.. at my current 73mph my boat is begging for more.. I feel it wanting to go but it can't. I do have Hyd steering and K-planes. Bravo-1 drives. I'm running 30p labbed Bravo-1 props.. thought is I will need to jump to at least 34's or more.. have to test I guess.. My current hole shot is great..
I guess I need to loose some more sleep and think about it..
