Help designing rear seat and cockpit floor

I was looking for some ideas in designing the rear seat for my 79 233. Currently there is no rear seat in it and access to the motors is great :-). However I need to build a rear seat and install a new deck, during this process I want a floor that will drain in to the bilge. Heres is my idea let me know if you find any problems with it.
The back seat will be removable and will bolt in to place. On the rear of the deck will be 2 4x4" mounting plates and 1 4x4"
plate on each side. These plates will be made of 1/4" steel and will make a 90" angle and bolt to the bottom of the deck. Each plate will have 4 bolts 1/2" in diameter. Along with this the rear seat will be raised on 8 rubber feet that are about 1/2" tall and 1" in diameter. Any comments or ideas are appreciated. Thanks guys!
