Why no drive/tab indicators on this 382 ?????

I have seen a lot of Formula's with and without indicators and on a Bravo set up I didn't think much of the difference. Looking at this 382 with 700 NXT's and no indicators makes me wonder why? Is there a good reason to build this power package with no indicators?

What kind of chore would it be to install them?

I'll take a stab at it to keep your thread up high on the list. That is a really nice boat! You think it might have the indicators in the electronics? Just redid all my indicators and dash board. You can have electronic indicators or mechanical. Mechanical would be running morse cables back to the drives and tabs and finding a location for the indicators on your dash. A boat that snazzy I would go with the electronic route.

I see it does have the Smart Craft display so maybe it can show this info.

These NXT drive systems are totally new to me. I have never driven them so I wondered if there is some "nature of the beast" thing would make indicators not needed.:confused::confused:

They say the boat is "fully loaded" but that would mean indicators to me.

I'm betting it has the electronic indicators, it's fancy.

smart craft will display tabs and trim, good setup, no more frozen cables to deal with

That is what I thought too. Of course when a person inquires about a boat at a brokerage they will get pestered by the flock of sales persons trying to make a buck. They are flat out of their mind. I can find boats with the same power, two years newer and even staggered for 80K less; and they have indicators. :lolhit:
