Was wondering about the changes in design with the 83 302 Sr1. My 81 had a lot of wood in it and dash was hard to see, 83-86 seam to look all the same

Did they change hull at all in 83

Yes they did change the hull. Stringer layout as I am sure you saw is totally different (I think that was 83). I think they still used wood back then for all stringers, transome, and bulkheads. They used wood all the way up to Fast Tecs as far as I know.

Looks like a better design pre 83 had bad drainage problems my 83 has offshore alum moter mounts, cockpit floor seams to be all glass no wood under it or under dash..are they faster.

Guess you are going to find out! :D

I am sure the floors will have wood in them it may just be glased over or pulled farther forward....
