I have a 2001 353 that is brand new in condition I would like to talk to them about trading up for this boat. so any help on this boat would be greatly appreciated. otherwise I'm just rollin what I have

I believe Jayfan is right, because it has extension boxes. That adds about 5-6 mph.

Sounds a little optimistic to me, I was thinking mid to high 70's. Heavy boat...

I had 630hp (700TQ) in a 382 w/o boxes. 80-82 on a regular day, 86 was the best ever. Based on my old boat, I would think 80 is the best you could get out of the boat (on a good day).

Going to stay with my estimate. Loaded with Gen set, air...

ITS will not add that much to this boat. The "boxes" are only 8" setback, not the traditional 12" such as the Stelling and IMCO.

I've driven several stock powered 382's and the best I have ever seen with 500 efi's was 72(I know these are 525's but the difference is negligible), and that was empty with no Gen.

Just my opinion though...

A friend has one with 575s and ITS and is only running low 70s.

75-76 on a good day...Maybe even slower with them 5 blades on there.

So if those that say they saw, see or could possibly get 80s out of this setup what would the hp600s run? I really would love to see some stats on this. What does a 353 with 525s run? Its lighter...

They are quite a bit slower with the ITS vs. the Imco from what I have seen.

My 382 loaded with air and genset will run 75-77 . no boxes,but Bblades labbed 28's. Saw 78 once,low fuel and only 2 aboard.Hope this helps
