Seat switches.
Does any one know a source for the in-seat switches that control the seat bottom and foot rests?
98 Formula 382. Present switches are black but I think they should have been white. Thanks. |

They were black on my 2002 as well....ordered white ones from Mcleod when I got the boat in 2006 and the new switches came with new wiring diagrams because they were slightly different.

I am trying to replace the black switches on my 99 382 with white. The white are taller so the snaps will not stay down.
My switches were from carling switch in West Hartford CT. They have special bezels. Didn't matter, they would not sell to me |

I would also like to replace my black switches. Thanks, JB |
The bezel has a kind of saw tooth tab that catches on the seat cavity. Because the wires are so thick they bunch up and put upward pressure on the switch which causes it to pop up. I am going to make a pedestal if I can't figure out how to pull the wires from the bottom

Try twisting the switch a few times before you slide it all the way in. This will make the wires loop and it should hold in OK.
