382 w/t 700's at National.
Anyone know anything about the 382 with 700's that's at National? Seems like a great price with 700's and only 50ish hours.

That boat is probably being stored indoors on a trailer in their big warehouse. Let me know. |

I do all of their Fire Sprinkler and Alarm Inspection and Service. I'm in and out of there often. I can put eyes on it if there is anything in particular you need to know.

If you have a moment to peek at it, I would be interested in it's condition. From the pictures, it looks pretty clean. There is a 2007 on boattrader with 700's and it's like 329K.
As far as the $329K for a 2007...you have to remember...like Mid Ocean says..."A boat is only worth what you can borrow to buy it". You have a better chance of seeing Jesus walk in the front door than getting a bank to loan more than 50% LTV on a used boat in this economy. |
That is one ugly boat..what were they thinking?
|
Formula financing, Obummer bailout, .50 cents on the dollar boat. Thank You America

I've been watching that boat for a while. They want $299K. As said before the market will determine price which would never be 299. Obviously they still have it.
That boat was built for the Miami boat show. It has everything. It didn't sell in Ohio for about a year and now it is in Fla. I have the build sheet for it from Formula. |
I saw it last thursday, its in nationals warehouse sitting just in front of that beautiful 36 apache. I did not get inside the boat or look at the engines, but from a walk around she was very clean.

http://www.yachtauctions.com/listing.php?vessel=6282 I am a Formula guy at heart...and even though I haven't seen the 382 yet...the 36 Warrior is much more "bang for the buck"....but even it is overpriced at $79,900...in this market:eek: |

would any of you know any history on the apache??? I'm just curios how it has been taken care of. :party-smiley-004: pics show it to be in good shape!!! and the red 382 700 has got to be one fine looking boat in person but 259k:eek:
259K, not good, 152K for the same year and 700's, not so bad and money left over to repaint it!!! Any idea what this boat runs with 700's? |

Any idea what this boat runs with 700's? Look it up on BoatTest.com I remember "Captain Steve" said that the 382 Formula was the fastest boat he ever tested for Boat Test. So ...I guess if you really want to haul ass..... :evilb: |

In my view the boat is mint...and I have walked all around it. I would love to own it. |

I rode in the 08' factory Formula Poker Run Boat, w/700's, and 6 people, it ran 89.9, Vic said, with 2 people, it would run 94-95.
With some after market tweaking I would not be suprised to see tripple digits. |

Apparently Captain Steve has never made it to Washington N.C. :party-smiley-004: |
Don't know if its just me but that one starboard pipe looks like it ran hot.

I don't like spiders at all and that paint doesn't do any justice to a Formula. If I picked this up it would definately get covered up with something, anything but that ugly spider stuff.
I guess the wtf4 was what the wife said when he brought it home. :lolhit: In all the pics I have seen the ladder on the platform must be buggered up because the lid is always partly open. |
I agree on the paint...not what I would want on a boat....my favorite formula paint scheme is this one http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...63&f=37863.jpg. There was a 382 for sale in Texas with this paint scheme when I was shopping a couple years ago and to me looked much better on the longer hull !!!

Yes. Those are colorful graphics. I like these too, High Voltage. http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...74&f=38874.jpg This is an eye catching graphic scheme. :drink: |
Mine runs 97 with 4 and two coolers of beer.........
|
It is in the classifieds here now.
Shogren Performance Marine bought it and now they are trying to flip it. |
How do you know that?
Maybe the Lien holder is having Shogren list it since he can take trades on it. |

Maybe the Lien holder is having Shogren list it since he can take trades on it. Maybe, but I doubt it. This boat has been for sale for a long time. I have tracked it for well over a year and several brokers. After the price of $152K at National Liquidators it wouldn't seem very probable to me to try and repackage this thing at $229K simply because of trades. Trades is just how Shogren does marketing. I'm waiting on verification of the purchase price. :) |
Well now you can trade in your boats on it.
|
I'm thinking I'll keep my LS, sell my SS and buy a 382 but I'm not ready for the purchase yet. Soon hopefully. :drink:
