Try a different prop?
 

Finally got enough time checking everything over and fixing little issues to gps the boat today. Ran 65 in calm water trimmed out @ 5100, 23p mirage props in decent shape, 454 330hp short blocks with large oval port heads, cams have. Approx .530 lift guessing 112 lobe sep done by reeds, roller rockers weiand stealth intakes 800cfm holley's 1.50 ratio drives, should I try 25s ? Or figure that's the best im gonna get?

My guess is that 25's will get you another 3~5 up top ...but at the expense of snappy response on the low end. Look into Bblades trial prop deal and try some 25's before you drop a thou just to find out how it works for you in your boating enviroment.

I grew up with sick stinger, and he has a pair of mirage 25s from the cig I can try, just don't know if its worth it, don't want to pull it down to 4500
