Broom the Bennett tabs for K-Plates...RIGHT!!
I know there's been a lot of support for replacing Bennett trim tabs with Mercury K-Plates on 292s. Mercury K-Plates, from what I've found, run around $3600 for the kit. I believe these are the cast aluminum version. Check out the link: http://www.keitheickert.com/p-16353-...m-tab-kit.aspx for K-Plate replacement billet tabs, which includes plates, pumps, stainless lines, fasteners, etc., for $2300. I contacted K&E, and they say these are direct bolt on replacements, and, are in fact, better than original. I'm lookin' for some feedback..thanks.....dave |
