I seldom open my hatch too busy with Ms. DOWNer on top of it! more satisfying to me personally than showing off blue paint to other guys... the same blue paint in thousands of other bilges |

You can always swap the cams, send the ECUs to Whipple, and drill out the air bleed hole in the throttle plates and you have HO's.

I could live with mag ho's in the 353 but would be hard pressed to buy it with 375 hp mags. It's a 35 foot powerboat, you gotta crack 70, JMHO. In bay terms, if you're doing 65, twins 311 is right next to you pounding Bee Gee tunes in your ear...ya gotta be able to pull away from that chit...just sayin..
If you are really that happy to crack the big Seven O, you are likely on crack! :lolhit: Far as Twins goes, you do need a speed edge to ensure that you can clear the mid 70's disco pop chit that most of us now wish we could just forget ever happened in the first place. God take us back to the good old days when perf boats had more HP than Watts. |
I've got 502s in mine and it gets in the low 70s depending on the load, but I wish she had more in her, even though it's been out of warrany a long line I just didn't want to break the factory seal on it.
