Full Hydraulic steering on a 271 Fastech???

I already have Imco dual ram add-on Hydraulic steering. I want to add complete Hydraulic steering this winter. I am wondering what kind and size of helm posts (steering column)people have used on 271's or any other fastech models . Thanks, Jeff Wurl

I've got an SR-1, but I don't think the dash structure would be any different... I used a Latham tilt column (Model# COLM-8577) along with a 160cc helm unit to work dual ram Imco steering. The column is the same Teleflex unit that is used with the stock cable steering that Latham heavily modifies to accept a hydraulic helm, so if you like what's there now, it will be just the same... And it is also what Formula used if your boat came with Latham steering from the factory.

Sounds exactly like my setup. My boat also has factory Latham steering.
