Welcome aboard, Great boat,,, as far as cover's, find a local guy and get one made, where you located? you can also try a few places on the web for a full cover, sure someone will chime in I think iboats does it and a few others, post some pics!

With the cover... I agree. Find a local. It will not be cheap. But you get what you pay for, I have a full cover from AmeriBrand I think.... nice cover good quality. Not real cheap.

Prop wise, I would start with Mirage 23's. That is most likely what the boat started with, Good call with the counter rotating drive. When I have to replace a drive that is my plan.

Thanks! i got a full cover for it but i keep the boat in the water and use it pretty much everyday so it kinda sucks covering and uncovering so i figured a cockpit one would be great. im located in lake hopactcong nj. i just got the boat last year and it has brand new vortec 350s rated at 335hp i gps 65 and it has 19p on it now but it will spin 5500 rpm lol and gets up on plane instantly so im very confused about what props to pick! thanks for the input!

I would defiantly go with a higher pitch prop. It may take a little longer to plane but will drop the rpm's and should give you some more speed.

I'd start with 21 mirage + and go from there, are there any amish nearbye?

I'd try a set of Hydromotive QIV's around 23-24 pitch. I'm running them on my 292 and like them a lot. As to the top, like everyone said call around. I need to have one made as well, I've got prices from $600 to $1000. All were made from Sunbrella, I did my research and the $600 shop has excellent reviews. Price isn't always an indicator of the quality. The $1000 price was from a guy I had do work in the past and when I picked up the cover/boat my boat was full of water and full of sand. I was mad as hell.

Yeah, what is that a slippage rate of 2% or so? Maybe the 19" of pitch is a bit conservative on that prop. 19.5" should allow 4% slippage which is still low. Unless my calcs are off. Definately spinning!

I would recommend using Top Gun and have 2 vents sewn in. Sunbrella will let the water seep through. A Top Gun cover will last 10yrs but will need a resew in 5yrs due to UV light. That is the only cover I would make and install on boats that sit outside and in the water. The material is breathable but will not allow water to seep through. I had a full cover and cockpit cover made for my boat. Also use it for a soft enclosure on my snowmobile trailer, the Top Gun fabric is from 1998 and is still in good shape and is always out in the elements, I've has to resew it twice and replace zippers twice but that is it.

Just how I would spend my money about $30 per foot to make

I would go over the windshield as to keep the the sun out. Sunbrella will leak and let the water in.

Whats your ratio? I have a pair of 27's you can try. I was running 1.50 with 330 hp and got to 70. (The 25's went with the boat)
