Need fuel tank for '87 272 SR-1....
 

Hey guys, I am restoring a 1987 272 SR-1, and I just found out that the fuel tank is bad, it has an inch of sludge on the bottom, looks like molasses. Never seen anything like it, it's horrible....lol. I am pretty sure that the boat has been sitting since '99! Does anyone know where I can get a replacement tank at a reasonable price? The tank is made by Florida Marine Tanks, I called them, but no response. Do I have to spend a fortune and have one custom made? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

I always had very good luck getting in touch with Florida Marine tanks. They had all the images of my tank with measurements and everything. The problem can be shipping with them it can be expensive.
