alpine stereo help 292
 

Only hickup i have found is the previous owner installed an alpine cda-105 stereo! Its a great head unit but there is NO wired remote option for that stereo?? I have to have a remote at the dash as it would be a pain to get out of seat and reach down to the cuddy?? Anyone know it the alpine marine series remote will work with the cda-105? Its saying its only compatible to the marine series head unit but im hoping there wrong!

Found the kit for 48 bucks on amazon and ordered it!!

I have one of these with 2 remotes and their wireless in dash remote.

I haven't had real good luck with the hand held remotes. They seem to lag a bit and are supposed to have a much longer range. I plan to relocate the remote receiver and see if that helps. Good luck.

axa, are youu saying you have the same alpine head unit?? If so I have not seen a wieless in dash remote? I would also be interested in that!!

I have the CDA-118M with an MC-20 remote. I'm not sure if the remote will work with your deck, but my understanding is that if it has the steering wheel control jack, it will. Verify that with alpine. I do like the dash mounted remote, it works much better then the hand held unit.

By the way, the remote bezel is custom made.

Just looked it up on Alpine's site and it look as though you have the jack on the back of your deck. I'd still check with them to be sure!

Thanks axapowell, I do have the steering wheel imput, i need it even with the other remote! Ill check wouldnt mind having both!! Wireless is great!
