Emi Thunder Exhaust ??

2 Attachment(s)
Hi Guys

I am opgrading my 1988 Forlmula 242 SS this season:

New transom, old complete rotted :-(
New rub rail
New upholstery
New Livorsy instruments

Hers is the question?

Engine 454 Gen V 330 hp Bravo 1, considering upgrade to
Emi Thunder Exhaust:

What effect do I get from this upgrade??

Today I have original mercruiser exhaust with 3" spacer, does this comes on all Formulas with thunder exhaust platform??? Is this nessesary because of possibel reverse of water in to the machine? Or is it only an upgrade on my 454??

I have a god offer on an almost new Emi Thunder Exhaust
551 normal exhaust, can I use this, or do I need the 552
3" taller pipes??

Best regards
Rune

You will need the EMI-552 3" taller, replaces your 3" spacer.

Thanks for feedback
This I know, the 552 replace my existing sytem, but do I realy need it. The engine I have in the boat is replaced
by a former owner in 1997, so I try to find out if it is
needed to have a 3" inch spacer or the 552 in my boat??

Has nothing to do with the engine, Unless someone has raised the engine 3" or lowered the exhaust holes 3" you will need the EMI-552
