311 external steering question
 

Can someone post a pic of bravo transom with external steering. Has anyone mounted on outside or mostly inside? Thanks

With the Silent Thunder exhaust platform we found it easier to go inside.

My 292 has them on the inside.

dont have silent thunder....want to see a pic of bravo 311 with steering setup if possible..thanks

Sc do you happen to know the length of your piston travel? . Mine are 9 inch they may be top long. Came off a fountain. Or could you measure one of your piston rams when steering is straight ahead. Thanks

I can but it will be the weekend before I get back to the lake house.

I think you want 8" stroke but the 9's should work for you if we assume that the rams in the pictures above are 8". I have never see them mounted outside the drives on at 311.
