ski tow eye or pole for 312 Fastech

Hey Bird owners have any of you added a ski tow eye on the back of your 312 or similar?? my little girl likes to tube nothing fancy just straight. My boat pulls it up fine but hooking a lines to the rear strap points sucks and pulls the tube down rather than up... I know-I know.... this isn't a ski boat...but I do what my 8 year old wants what can I say... Any thoughts?

Why not add a provision like this.......with a backing plate.

Mines a 271, but maybe this will help. Behind the lift actuator is a steel plate the ski hook is mounted to.

I took an 8 ft. length of 3/4" nylon rope and braided loops on each end to form a bridle that I attach to the rear cleats. Works fine for tubing' behind my 292.

+1 That's what I have always done...just get a ski bridle with a swivel float and you are good to go.:evilb:

What Sprink & Fastech said - works great... Don't succumb to buy one with metal quick connects - it'll scratch up your cleats!

Hanging a bridle off the cleats is a quick easy. If you want to make the boat tow eye equipped then the same way Formula did the 271 and my 242 would be just like original equipment and look good.
