The advantage (to me) of the 292 over the 311 is dock space at home!

Ya, it will stick out but its a private dock so it won't matter..

waterboy,
in response to your intial post, my 91' 292 was one of several made that year with the NA 502's, 415 horse and B1's. I purchased the boat with 700 hrs, and over two seasons put another 200 hrs on her. With that said, she would knock the door of 70 anytime, with 2 persons, half fuel and normal gear, even with the hours noted. Great running boat for its size, in any conditions here on the Chesapeake Bay. Good luck. |

Did you get it?

I made an offer. Waiting to hear back today. He hadn't heard from the seller yet. I made an offer on the boat and the lift so we'll see what happens.
Also, does anyone know what a 292 with 502's will weigh? Trying to figure out a trailer/lift. |

Guys...70 MPH in a boat is haulin' a$$!!:evilb: We're talking about the speeds that the Bahama's 500 winners like Odell Lewis were running 35~40 years ago.
A 30' Formula with overnight accommodations, without a whole crap-load of picky High Performance equipment that has to be phucked with daily and can run all phucking day at 55~60 MPH is a very nice piece of equipment.!! Waterboy...good luck in snagging this one...then go out and enjoy it.:evilb: |
