303 454/mags 70+ really?
 

Ive seen a few guys on here post that there 303 with 454/mags/efi will run 70-74, I had someone selling a boat today tell me this also, not sure I believe this, are you guys getting GPS numbers or speedo? hell then what can I expect outta 502/mags/efi's? just seems fast to me if someone said 68-70 I'd buy it but 70-74 that I'm reading and hearing I'm not sure

Had one with 454 carb mags 365 hp 66mph best 63-65 Put 500hp mercs and saw 80-81 mph gps speed

Mine are GPS numbers, 74 best day light on fuel salt water etc. 70 all the time. at 70 the speedo is wound clear into the dash. :lolhit:

I have Bblades labbed 24's spinning 5400 when the boat was light and in salt water. Can expect 5200 WOT any day.

Bravos. There is also a set of mirage 25's in the boat , but I've never put them on!
