Depth sounder issue
 

I have 2000 353 and the depth sounder is not functioning right. It works sometimes but most of the time it continually flashes a number that is incorrect. Any thoughts on where to start and any idea where Formula mounts the transducer on these?

Mine is located under the step that leads down to the front berth. Mine has a mind of it's own too......but works most of the time, so I haven't replaced it! I believe mine is a Humminbird.....I would assume yours is also, but not 100%.

I'm having the same issue on mine. I'm pretty sure the transducer needs to be replaced. My transducer is a black puck just forward of the engine in the bilge.
