take them off, scuff them with a scuff pad and paint them white,,nobody will ever know the differance...
don't even need to scuff them really. Just make sure they're clean and dry and spray 'em with a flat white. Gloss products will be too prone to run whilst trying to get good coverage in the cutouts. many "misting" coats are key, from many angles including from the backside to get that good coverage in the cutouts. I do this kind of thing with plastic parts all the time |
Nobody knows where these can be purchased?

If you decide to paint use this:
http://www.krylon.com/products/fusion_for_plastic/ I did on my 6x9 grills about three years ago. Still look like new and are bright white. Went with Satin white. Nice finish. |
The original plastic is long gone guess i'll look for billets

www.dcgold.com Speaker grills are not intended to keep water out of speakers. I would replace the speakers with 6x9's which come with grills......my 382 came with Kenwood's and I replaced all of them this year with DC Gold. Your speakers are 12 years old.....time for a redo! Enjoy! :drink::drink::drink::drink: |
