90 MPH GPS with single BBC...cruises at 70. Lot of fun here and WILL amaze your friends at the Party Cove:evilb:

This is well engineered...well planed boat. Lot of bang for the buck at $60K

That boat is insane..........I would be a little nervous to go 90 in a boat that size though.

Awsome boat, but that is a 271 not a 272 right?

Formula311-SR1 06-22-2012 09:37 AM

It's a 271

Its probably bigger/heavier than a 29 Fountain ,, if you have to go that fast
in a 27footer the Formula would be the nicest/safest ride I can think of...
:)
Besides mine of course,LOL

I like the dash update, definitely not gonna get that much thou

Very nice cosmetics.
That is exactly what I have planned for my dash on my 242LS. I really like the modern silver accents and turning the black dash of my old bird into modern silver will just make this boat look brand new to me.

I have the same year bird, and I have had 800hp under the hatch but 90 was not obtainable with my setup but I had no where near the money he has into her.

Having owned a 271 (1993) I can tell you they want and need big power. They are heavy boats and can handle snotty water. If I'm going to go 90 in a 27 foot boat it WILL be a Formula.
