Only issue is a small amount of rot on the non glassed board on around the port side of the gas tank. Covered here.

I love the boat and will fix it up and take the family and friends for a fast ride. I hope this thing goes 60 MPH when i am done.

i will get some pics or video of the outside soon.

My God that is sweet!!! Old style log exhaust and all. That boat is probably a time capsule!!

We have got to see some pics of this one!!! The 302 "Flat Glass" is the best of the Formulas of that era in my opinion and to come across one in that condition is a rare find indeed:evilb:

It will run 60+...I think the factory numbers were about 62~65...the 255 like I have with twin 330's ran about 70 so I'm sure a 302 should be capable of 65. If I were you I would change all the fluids on that boat...engines, transmissions, drives, and even the power steering. Get a fresh set (16) of spark plugs and Distributor caps and rotors along with spark leads. If the carburetors were left with any fuel in them you may experience some varnish and gum and they may require a good cleaning and rebuild...no big deal.

You don't say where you are but if you plan to run in salt water...consider upgrading those old "log" style exhaust manifolds to newer center riser type. This will save you about 125~150 lbs of dead weight in the rear of the boat as well as enhance the performance.

If you are near SE Florida I would love to take a look at it.

Very Nice!!! Thanks for sharing.

Had it in the water yet?

California?...What part?

Nope I am going through it first. I am fixing some of the floor and servicing the drives. This is my ultimate boat (in my price range) because
I can bring my family
Goes fast
has a head
Plenty of room
fits in my side yard

Love it! Looks like a very well taken care of piece. I also really love seeing these boats in factory original configuration.
