Anyone running Merc Maximus Prop's

Just wondering if anyone is running Merc Maximus prop's on their formulas and what kind of difference you are seeing between those and the Bravo I's/Mirage?
If you are tell us what boat/engines and what changes you are seeing in performance/top speed/handling/fuel economy if any?
Thanks and happy boating.

my friend jeff ran a set of 26's on his 1997 312..300 hp 454's mpi's with 1.65 ratio drives..he was running 28 bravo ones..the fastest with the bravoe he said it ran 67 mph, with the 5 MAXIMUS THE BOAT RAN LIKE 62 MPH..the boat would plane off at 2800 rmp's and stay on plane around 1900 @ 20 mph...he would also use 1/3rd lass fuel over the 28 bravo props..he still has the props but traded in the boat at shoegrens..

I have both. 2004 382 Fastech.28 Bravos and 26 Maximus. Both tuned and labbed by Bblades. The 5 blades help getting on plane, and cruise is much better, but top end suffers.I run the 28 four blades all the time.382 is a heavy boat, and the fives just have too much bite. The fours are certainly easier on drives. All depends on how you boat I guess. I had a 312 with 496's 375 hp,and always ran four blades.Boat planed fine, never really thought about fives for it.

did you get the rubber plug kit for the props and have you played with them to air out the props?

BTW reguargd to your im,,if your running mirage 3 blades on your boat and its hard to get on plane its because of the mirage props..4 blades are night and day and the 5 blades are even better..my friend wants to sell his maximus props..
