353 interior availability/cost ?
 

Help! any idea where i can get vinyl covers for cockpit(or complete seats,hatch material for a 353 fastech? any idea what the factory would charge? thanks!

You used to be able to get the interior pieces from Mcleod but they've had troubles and I don't know if they are still open (McLeod made all the Formula interiors for years). When I got mine the interior looked new except for the rear bench where everyone steps getting in it......so I ordered just that one piece so it would match. If I were replacing the entire interior I'm sure it would have been cheaper to have it custom made.

what should i expect to pay for hatch,rear seat, front seats to get done in basic vinyl w/two colors?

they are still around,,,i think its somewhere around 3 k for just the skins...i think someone else bought them out or partnered up with them..i believe in detroit area ??

To have the entire interior done I would guess you are looking at about 3-4K. That is what they quoted me on my 311 and that was me taking out the interior.

My buddy "LAKE EFFECT" on the site got the factory skins 2 years ago, I wanna say for the hatch and rear seat was like 3-3500.00 no bolsters...not cheap, but its factory....

Get the factory stuff, seen a 353 redone with pieces from formula and a 382 done by an upholstery shop, big difference in overall quality. Ever seen a hatch blow up like a ballon?

Right, LAke Effect looks sweet with new factory skins.. nobody can duplicate that, if they did it would still be expensive...
