Livorsi gauges
I want to upgrade all my gauges to livorsi. 272 sr1. Won't need tachs or speedo as I have already installed floscan w/tachs and a hds5 plotter. I see the livorsi is a plug in style. So does that mean I just need connectors and wire in to existing wiring the plug in?
If its that easy I'm stoked!! |
I'd look at auto-meter if I was you. I have all Livorsi in my boat and I think they suck! The needles fade within a year or two. My Silver Carbon faces are also fading, and I have at least two, gauges that the faces pop off and I've never tightened them beyond finger tight and my GPS speed-o quit working AGAIN! And if that wasn't enough they switched from glass lenses to cheap plastic that craze after a season. Mind you I live in Michigan and my boat only sees the sun 4-5 months a year and its under a cover when not running. Autometer are a lot less money and certainly cannot be worse in quality than Livorsi.

Thanks endeavour. Ill look into it. Was getting ready to order them. I'm doing white face with polished bezels.

Ok endeavour you and a few searches here and google convinced me to go with autometer. They are on the way.

Good Call. I wish I would have went auto-meter. I was looking at my gauges today and they look like crap for how old they are. Especially when you consider my boat is under a cover!
