29 Fountain Fever or Formula 292 Fastech w/ Scorpions
 

Currently have a 27' Fever. Would love a boat with twins and need to go 80. Can't fit more than a 29' boat in the slip. I've narrowed it down to a 29 Fever w/ Scorpions and the Formula w/ Scorpions. I can't find any Fevers with Scoprions for sale.. I guess they are that rare? Have found 3 Fastechs at various price points. Open to thoughts/recommendations, pros vs. cons, etc. Might be open to a Donzi 28 ZX with the Scorps...

got a friend with a 2000 ish 28 zx with scorpions..runs 80 and is well takn care of..stored indoors and its all white with red and black strips.he is not really pushing it but i think he wants 42k for it..

he said it has like 400 hours on it but by looking at the boat it looks like it has less them 100..like i said the boat is well takin care of..not listed that t know of..

Hours are a little higher than I'd like, but from the youtube videos it looks clean.... I could be interested. Do you know if it has tabs or K-planes?

Yes mike was kicking around the idea of going back to a 22 classic.mike and his kid still have the 2z9 which is mint so he would still have a bigger boat to use..


i dont know,,i know he pulled the engines one year and redid the bilge because he saw some lite cracks in the gelcoat and it is now all reinforced and tied together and regelled...looks really nice...

edit! oops he wanted to add extra supports under the engine for lake mich....no CRACKS..
