353 Water PU's
looking for Ideas to install water pickups......How did you do it and who you get them from? ....otf
|
I'm interested too. I've been throwing around the idea of putting a small AC unit in my 292. Would love to see a project thread for this.

What about the factory setup for 382's with Ilmors?
|
That would work too, however I don't have the coin for that at the moment.
At the current moment, my 292 fits all my needs. AC would just be the icing on the cake. Yes, I can have my cake and eat it too. |

They might be Teague's - I'd call the factory and aske the TAG group...
|
They are Teague's. I could send close ups of mine if you would like.

I used these from Imco to feed my intercoolers.

Looking at doing this myself.
Pictures are off OSO & Whipple websites. The double one from Hardin Marine won't work on our boats due to the triple drain plugs, but thought I share it for others. |
Interesting - some point them in, some point them out, and some put them straight down?
I wonder if it actually makes any difference so long as the PU angle is cut correct. |

I thought these looked interesting.
On Teagues website. A dual water pick up in one unit. Could be used for AC but why not use the big inlets for the strainers / engines and the smaller ones for the supercharger intercoolers. Anyone using them? How do you have them rigged? |
These look like mine. C-Spray posted them above. I know mine are Teague's. I have one per strainer. Formula used the straight connection going through the bottom step, and used a 90 degree bend inside the engine compartment. I will email better pictures this weekend.
