McLeod Bolster retrofit
 

I am putting a pair of these from a 292 into my 255. I see a possible issue with the seat height finishing too high in my boat.

If any one with a 242,272 or 292 (1991 or earlier)with these seats would take time to measure something I would surely appreciate it. I need the dimension from the bottom of the seat to the cockpit floor.

I am thinking I may have to have my bases modified but before I do I want to check on the height as mounted.

Well.....I guess all the 'Birds are put away for the winter and we are going to have to wait for spring....hope not. (Lol)

OK...Diego solved the mystery...19" on his 272 and that's what I measure from the floor.

So...this should work on my 255.
