2013 353 Stilleto with 565's
Has anyone seen any performance or fuel burn numbers for this boat? As near as I can tell, it's the highest-powered 353 ever from the factory...
|
I checked the factory book from the NYC show and the 565's are, indeed, the biggest factory offering. Don't have fuel or mph figures but my partner, who has a lot of experience with these boats, said 87-90mph should be the expected top.

Formula also has another 382 Ilmor on the line, and a new 353 with the ilmor 570 in production now.
It is great that the Fastec line has picked up again! |

It is great that the Fastec line has picked up again! The 382 Ilmor boat is the fifth one, isn't it? There's also another 400SS/Ilmor boat with lots of new bells and whistles underway for a German buyer. That makes 8 Ilmor Formulas in less than a year and a half (nine if you include the 570 boat). |
They never made a 353/600 boat???
We need to see a 353/Ilmore 725!!!! |
I have a powerboat mag where they tested the 353 with 600scis, i believe top speed was 91. This is from memory so I could be off
found it http://specialtyboat.net/ad.aspx?ID=2169506 |

found it http://specialtyboat.net/ad.aspx?ID=2169506 That is the exact boat and pic I remember seeing a year ago. For some reason I thought an ad about that boat claimed 94mph but I see this one says 91. That is still boiling some water pretty good though. |
a member here has a 353/600's in it, from factory
