1999 382 value

Looking for some real world value on 1999 382 575s, boxes, 275 hours, air, gen, in above average condition with trailer. I here older 382s are not bringing much? Would like some opinions.

If this is the one in Texas, I looked at it for a friend. I wouldn't give more than 45-50k for it. Needs all new interior (sun burned) and if the blowers hadn't been freshened up, you're looking at another 20-25k to fix those issues. I couldn't raise the hatch, because the batteries were dead, so I have no comment on the condition of the engines or anything else in there.

He mentioned "in above average condition". The one you mentioned sure doesn't sound like that. :D

Looked at my friends pictures of the boat before I went to look at it. The pictures didn't show the piss poor condition of the interior. Just trying to save someone some time....

I would find it hard to believe that there are two 1999 382's with 575's and boxes, with a/c and gen....JS

Yes is the boat in texas! The 42 pictures and video do not show that. Thank you for info. Other than interior how was the boat condition? I figured blowers and valve springs to be safe but what other issues did 575s have?

Typically at 250 -300 hrs, you want to get the blowers serviced. No major scratches on the hull, no chips on the bottom that I could see. I have known Robert Parks (American Yacht Sales) for years, let me know if I can help. It has a race facing instead of the windshield, I don't care for the look, but thats just my opinion.

575's are thirtsy, run out good but vs. 525's, not much more power for the fuel consumption. A friend of mine had a Cig 2 step with 575's and an upgraded fuel system, boat would run 97 (no boxes).

The 382 came from Austin, assume mostly fresh water. Never saw the boat down here on any of our poker runs.

Thanks something sexy!! I was talking with Tim Hart on boat. Its 1200 miles away and glad I could here from some one that looked at it.

Another thing to consider is that they did not yet have the 575SC's in 1999 model year. These cannot be the original engines. To my knowledge, one 1999 382 came with 585 hp Lingenfelter modified N/A engines, the Poker Run Special.
