I was working crazy hours to finish up what I had in the shop and it must have slipped my mind.... I'm shut down now It sounds like you are a good salesman if you have went threw 2 boats a year for the last two years. I'm out to get the best deal I can and I'm sure your out to make as much as you can . I know salesmen hate to hear story's of guys buying 35 lightings for 35k ...... It makes your job harder. I can tell you one thing if I go to buy something and the guy selling talks to me like I owe him something for him letting me look at his item..... I'm walking. I'm glad your not offended as your right..... It just business nothing to get worked up over.

No its ALL good,,,,good Luck on the search for a boat,,I dont buy and sale boats for a living so I am NO salesman,,,Its just a hubby I dont do it to make money,,I have a full time job for that..lol

PS,,if you do find a Lighting for 35k and you dont want it,,,please turn me on to it...

hey I feel the same way as well..if someone comes over to look at something that I am selling and they act like they are doing me a favor I walk away from them as well..lol

That's just a story I read somewheres on hear...... And I'm aware that everyone wants to come on hear and rant about how good of a deal they get,....... But I'm sure a lot are quite about having to shell out big $ to fix the crap they bought for such a deal. A good condition boat is worth the search and $...... Ya never know the OP might have told me I was crazy and anything less than 25k was insane..... Next thing ya know I'm on my way to see him and I know 25 is the deal no haggling, just have to make sure it's in the right condition. Ya gotta start somewhere

Artie,

Congrats and good luck with the next purchase. I hope everything goes smooth for you. I wish I could have made the numbers work a little more but this wasn't going to be a long term boat for me and I just couldn't make the numbers work, but your boat is worth every penny of your asking. I am might be going in a little different direction for the next one but think it is still going to be a 'brid.

Artie, in all honesty, I would love to purchase your boat, but my job is termporariliy in jepordity... Its been a year now and I know nothing since then, so I still have to wait. Your boat is pretty much what I am looking for. Oh well, I will have to wait it out and start looking again when things are more stable..

Whoever it is getting Artie's boat can rest assure that it's everything he says it is. And if there is anyone here on this site that I trust with my boat it would be Artie. He helped me out last year and not to mention here and there with little things. It's a real nice piece for sure.

Congrats on selling, right now during these tough economic times finding a buyer can be the hardest thing. I too look for the trade in route but we all know that the best deals are from the private owners. Good luck in your next purchase, I know how fun and exciting it is.

On a side note there are a lot of banks that will do a non secure loan on older boats, so even if they won't do a traditional loan and you might not have the cash there is always that route.

Matt, thank you. Most that know me in person know I'm a no BS kinda guy. I don't take sh!t from anyone, but I generally don't dish it out either. Life's too short. I know the new owner will enjoy the boat with his kids, and hopefully he will jump on here (he is a member) and fill us in on how it works out.

Good luck to both of you, the hunt is most of the fun anyway!
