Another '79 255 Liberator
I received an email from another 255 Liberator owner in Michigan. he bought this one 2 years ago near Chicago, re built the drives and had a very cool wrap put on it.

With 23" Mirage Props he is getting a best GPS top end of 57 MPH @4700 RPM with the original twin 260 Mercruisers!!! Nota a bad looking '79 Formula Liberator...especially after 34 years!! Wow, that is impressive. 57 on the original 260's is incredible!
Freeboard is amazing! You almost need a step to climb up onto the boat from the swim platform. Being by Flint, I wonder where he will be running it. Saginaw bay, huron or St. Clair are all about the same distance from him. Is he sure he has enough trailer there? Only three axles? :whistle: When you running yours again John? Brian |
