Like everyone else said as long as it was taken of should not be a big deal. I had to do some wiring on mine because of the salt but nothing that a 20 yr old boat prolly needed anyway!

I am still looking for the perfect 311. I have a friend looking at the Florida boat today to give me his honest opinion on the shape of the boat. I'll keep you all posted.

Ive taken almost every nut and bolt off of mine and replaced it all with new stainless, pulled down the top ends, gaskets, inspect everything and working on the new upholstery.. Sat on a lift baking in the sun in salt air.

why a 311? a 336 is almost the same boat but you can sleep in the engine compartment..literly..cant get around the engines in a 311 and if you work on them like i do i would think about that.their is also more room on the ***** pad..

Im 6-2 215 pounds and have lots of room to work on my 311 . You just take out the step platforms and you can actually get under the engines:helmet:
